Eden Lake trailer

This is the "Eden lake" trailer. In this trailer it gets right into the action and shows you straight away the scenery and the basic story line by using a voice over of what they are doing. Also within the trailer it shows you the main bits of what happens in the film and grabs your attention and makes you want to go and see the film. Further more it shows you all the main characters and what there like and through out the hole trailer even though it gives you all the good bits it doesn't give away what actually happens within the film so it leaves you mind at a cliff hanger. The main feature of it is that it shows all the clips shot and quick.

Cinematography:

Within the trailer there are lots of fast used shots to give across to the audience a sense of ambiguous setting and story also unclear events that happen in the film. The shots such as close ups on certain points in the film shows the most action and good points of the film and also by doing this it shows feelings of the characters in the film.

Editing:

The trailer includes lots of editing. Firstly it uses clear titles so that the audience can get a hint or a clue to what is happening in the film. Next on the video side of it, it used flashes and fades to swap between clips this makes the audience maybe jump and conveys a sense of thrill or that something is wrong, also when they use the flash effect it is red to give a sense of danger.

Sound:

The sound within the trailer is always at high intensity and through out the trailer it is always increasing. Also to finish the trailer the last thing they try and do is to leave the trailer at really immense intensity and then finish and put the title of the film, this make the audience want to find out what happens.
