Triangle opening sequence

http://tubeplus.com/player/1685036/Triangle/

couldn't find opening so had to find link with film on it.

But within this opening sequence it has a really good effect on the audience as it starts of with a mystical opening as you do not yet know what characters there are and who they are within the film.

Cinematography:
Within the opening it shows shot's of characters but none which characteristics of them so it left me in suspense. The effect of doing this is it might show shots from the trailer which in the first place made you want to see the film, and then it gives you the information that these are man characters.
More so it uses a tilt shot as the first clip plays and it gives a sense of anxiety and as the audience its the opening that grabs you with the use of dramatic constructed shots.

Editing:
The editing in the opening is very well done as it shows title of who stars in it ext, but also uses the fade in and fade out effect to swap between titles and short shots of he film. This is very effective in an opening sequence as it grasps the audience attention and the effects also give them information to the opening. Importantly the title of the film is shown through an effect, it uses three effects combined it uses a fade for the titles that run of it and also uses a zoom and fade in effect for the main title of the film which is "triangle".

Sound:
The sound within the opening sequence uses both diagetic and non-diagetic sound. An example is where it uses music in played over the diagetic noise which firstly set's a scene of the opening and also gives mystery to the opening. Also the speech from the woman at the beginning had no scene to what the audience knows so is again a good aspect of opening sequences as it makes the audience want to watch and find out why, where, who, what and how.
