- Simple font titles in opening which short and animated titles, this is effective as animated titles you can make as effective as you want and they can sometimes make the audience get ready for the film as some titles are quite scary and ambiguous.
Thriller
- Creepy, mysterious and ambiguous locations and scenes. this is used a lot in thrillers as they do not give away a lot till the end and like to keep the audience in suspense waiting and carry on watching to find out.
- Quick cuts and not so many slow effects between shots. the quick cuts are used along side the music and quick cuts and music create action in the film which make the audience have a reaction to it. which again is a good element of a thriller as it makes them want to carry on watching.
- Dark areas blunt lighting colours used. Used all the time as locations and people are not given away straight away and main characters are hidden until the end or a point or scene of climax.

- Lots of facial close ups and body close ups.normality a number 2 of the film so always leaves you at a cliff hanger. it show the tension of what may be going on in the film.
- Steady music leading up to point of action of a tense moment to reveal a dilemma or a situation in the film. this can also be effective in the film as a a high point of tension the music can rise and dramatically go loud so make the audience have a reaction to what is going on.
Eddie - please take more care with spelling - CHECK YOUR WORK!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are aiming for a B - so I would suggest you create a more visual post - a collage of various images from films in your chosen genre to show your grasp of conventions.
